Sustainability Plan- Water Relief CSR

Access to safe and clean water is a major public health concern for us as a Nation and this is why we have taken this initiative as our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) number six (6) which is Clean Water and Sanitation. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and UNICEF conducted the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene–National Outcome Routine Mapping (WASH -NORM 11) survey for 2019 reports show that only 9% of households have access to complete basic water, sanitation and hygiene services.

The reports emphasize the need for sustainable interventions to make it possible to reach all affected communities by 2030.We must accelerate efforts and deploy financial resources more efficiently for this cause.

Our Belief

We believe implementing community water project is a long-term strategy for sustainability which is critical to our mission and we hope to collaborate with the general public and organisations.

Our Coverage

We have been able to reach out to low-income communities across Lagos State during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Some of these communities include Oworonshoki, Shomolu, Makoko, Lagos-Island, Ikotun, Alimosho, Iju-Ishaga, Ibeju-Lekki, Egbeda etc.

Our Goal

Our goal is to plant water channels across different states in Nigeria till every disadvantaged community has access to safe and clean water.
